Elderly United
Elderly United was incorporated on July 29, 1968. It has grown from a one-room office staffed by two people providing two services, to a staff of more than one hundred providing over thirty services from five locations.
In 1989, Elderly United was designated by the Ohio Department of Aging as a focal point for senior services in Clark County. Today it offers a wide range of services and programming to those  55 and older.
Elderly United's socialization activities are the cornerstone of the downtown center and satellites. A wide variety of educational, recreational, and wellness programs are offered including art classes, crafts, bingo, cards, exercise classes, entertainment programs, educational seminars, pool, potlucks, shuffleboard, one-day trips and extended tours.
Other services provided by Elderly United assist older persons with who may have physical or mental disabilities. These services help fulfill the mission of Elderly United and enable an older person to maintain their independence as long as possible.
